On November 4, Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ reaffirmed and strengthened a Memorandum of Understanding originally signed in 2024 with .

A ceremonial signing of the MOU concluded a day of events, including an official welcome, roundtable discussions, and tours of the Romeoville campus.

Vice Admiral (R) Asif Khaliq HI(M), Rector (President) led the delegation from Bahria University for the visit that renewed commitment of both institutions to advancing international collaboration, academic exchange, and global engagement in higher education.

The visit featured strategic meetings with Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ President Dr. David Livingston, Provost Dr. Christopher Sindt, and academic leaders from the College of Business, the College of Aviation, Science and Technology, and the College of Humanities, Fine Arts and Communications. Discussions focused on strengthening academic partnerships, promoting faculty and student exchanges, and identifying opportunities for joint research.


Livingston expressed his appreciation for the growing partnership with Bahria University, highlighting the shared commitment to fostering global engagement and academic innovation. He emphasized that the strengthened MOU reflects both institutions’ dedication to creating transformative opportunities for students and faculty through collaborative research, exchange programs, and joint academic initiatives that promote cross-cultural understanding and educational excellence.

The Bahria University delegation expressed enthusiasm about the shared vision and the potential for cross-institutional programs that foster cultural understanding and academic excellence. The MOU strengthened the intent, laying out the groundwork for future students' mobility programs, joint research projects, and exchange of academic expertise between the two universities.

A highlight of the visit was the engagement with Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ's Pakistani Student Ambassadors, including Osama Mahmood, Mohammad Fasih, Safwan Abdullah, Murk Abdula Khalique, Sabih Shahid, Shaheer Uddin, Irum Iftikhar, Alizay Faisal, and Abdul Rahman. The ambassadors played a pivotal role in sharing their student experiences, academic rigor, and showcasing the campus community.

The collaboration was initiated and facilitated by Dr. Bushra Malik, Assistant Professor of Business Analytics, with event coordination led by Tyler King, Executive Director for International Affairs.

The visit concluded with a formal lunch featuring Pakistani cuisine, providing an opportunity for the delegates to network with Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ students, faculty, and staff.
