Swipe Out Hunger

Swipe Out Hunger at Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ is a campus initiative, implemented in partnership with Sodexo, that supports students facing food insecurity by providing access to meals through a Meal Swipe Bank funded by Sodexo contributions.

The Pilot Swipe Out Hunger program for the Spring 2026 semester is currently closed because we have allocated all available meals to students. We will be reviewing the program over the summer and hope to expand it for the Fall 2026.

You can find information about the Food Pantry at the Romeoville campus here. Additional resources for off campus supports are available .

Food insecurity is a growing issue on college campuses nationwide, affecting students’ health, academic performance, and overall well-being, and this program is designed to address that need with accessible, supportive resources. Across the country, students who receive support report positive outcomes, with 4 out of 5 feeling less stress, 64% managing finances more easily, and 44% seeing improvement in their academic performance. Swipe Out Hunger is more than a meal program; it is a way to build a stronger, more supportive campus community by ensuring students have consistent access to meals so they can focus on their education, well-being, and success.
