F-1 VISA INFORMATION SESSION

The Office of International Students and Global Scholars Services (ISGSS) welcomes new international students each academic year and provides a mandatory F1 visa information session. 

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Spring 2026 New F-1 Student Information Session will be held remotely this semester. The session will take place on the same dates and times as previously scheduled, and attendance remains mandatory.

This required session will cover important topics related to F-1 visa compliance, medical and health requirements, course registration, and other essential campus and community resources.

Access details for the remote session will be shared via email sent directly to the student’s Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ email address on record.

Key Housing Reminders

• Regular Move-In for On-Campus Housing: January 18–19, 2026. Contact reslife@lewisu.edu to schedule your move-in.
  
  
• Early Arrivals to campus: Students who arrive prior to January 18, 2026 should be aware that on-campus dining, transportation, and general campus support services will be very limited or unavailable during this time.
  
  
• Temporary Housing: On-campus housing is not available before January 18, 2026. Students arriving early must arrange temporary off-campus accommodations. A list of suggested temporary housing options is available HERE.
  
  
• Off-Campus Housing: Students living off-campus are responsible for securing their own housing. Popular options used by Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ international students can be found HERE.
